We’re seeking  Claims Specialist  to work in a temporary to hire opportunity with a Top Healthcare Client in San Angelo, TX . We’re here to help you find something great that works for you—so you won’t miss a moment of what really matters in your life.

Snapshot:

\n\t
• Temp to Hire!\n\t
• Start Date: March 10, 2025\n\t
• Pay rate is $16.50/hour (pay increase to $17.75/hour once hired)\n\t
• Shift Information: Monday through Friday 8:00AM until 4:30PM for training.\n\t
• Flexible Schedule after Training (8-hour shift between 7AM-6PM)\n\t
• The position will be fully ONSITE for training.\n\t
• Paid training is a minimum of 8 weeks.\n\t
• After training, you will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule (remote for two weeks and onsite for one week rotation).\n\t
• You must have HIGH SPEED internet at home to do this position \n

\n\n

Job Duties:

\n\n

\n\t
• Processing complex claims requiring investigation and coding\n\t
• Resolving pending claims in a timely manner\n\t
• Processing adjustments \n\t
• Utilizing multiple applications simultaneously\n\t
• Sitting at a cubicle for extended periods of time\n

\n\n

What the position is NOT :

\n\n

\n\t
• A customer service position. You will NOT be taking phone calls from members\n\t
• Not merely a data entry position\n

\n\n

Job Specific Qualifications:

\n\n

\n\t
• High School Diploma or GED\n\t
• Computer proficiency a must! \n\t
• Be able to navigate between multiple programs simultaneously\n\t
• Solid computer skills - basic typing, navigation of toolbar\n\t
• Solid data entry skills average: 7,000+ keystrokes/hour\n\t
• 6+ months of office clerical, medical, or insurance claims experience\n\t
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills\n\t
• Detail oriented with strong Interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills\n\t
• Independent decision-making skills\n\t
• Adapts well to change\n\t
• Member-focused and highly engaged\n\t
• Ability to meet and/or exceed performance expectations for quality and production\n\t
• Ability to sit for long periods of time\n
