A bit about us:
Full Time Permanent Controller needed in Southwest Houston (77047). This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee and direct the financial activities of our organization. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing financial procedures, managing our company's financial information, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role requires a strong understanding of Manufacturing Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Financials. We're a smaller sized organization, and are really looking for a candidate with NetSuite experience.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring adherence to established deadlines.
Internal Controls & Risk Management: Design and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and maintain regulatory compliance.
Accounting Operations: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative, efficient, and values-driven work environment.
Financial Analysis: Evaluate financial data to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and support business leaders with a focus on driving success in the rental industry.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Create detailed budgets and forecasts that align with strategic goals, enabling informed financial planning and decision-making tailored to the rental sector.
Qualifications:
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant).
NetSuite experience.
Experience in the rental and service industry is preferred, including familiarity with revenue recognition, lease accounting, and industry-specific regulations.
Demonstrated success in leading and managing an accounting team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong technical accounting expertise with in-depth knowledge of GAAP is required.
