FinOps Strategist Key Role: Spearhead the implementation and adoption of a centralized FinOps platform. Support the establishment of policies and practices to enable research teams and administrators to maximize the value of their cloud investment. Work with Cloud Service Providers and resellers to build collaboration and data pipelines. Design and implement KPIs for tracking cost allocation, cloud spend, and optimization metrics. Provide escalation path on FinOps best practices and resolve billing inquiries for client experience and junior FinOps personnel. Build and maintain comprehensive documentation of institutional practices and procedures. Basic Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing position Experience using FinOps platforms, such as Apptio Cloudability or equivalent cloud cost management tools Ability to effectively support both financial decision-makers and technical teams Ability to solve complex problems with a resourceful mindset and strong analytical troubleshooting skills Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements HS diploma or GED FinOps Certified Professional Certification AWS Solutions Architect (Associate), Azure Administrator Associate, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer Certification Additional Qualifications: Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
