Job Title: Finance Analyst

Duration: 1 year Contract

Location: Onsite in Springfield, MO

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define or recommend model specifications or data collection methods. Develop core analytical capabilities or model libraries, using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques.
• Devise or apply independent models or tools to help verify results of analytical systems.
• Maintain or modify all financial analytic models in use.
• Research new financial products or analytics to determine their usefulness.
• Collaborate in the development or testing of new analytical software to ensure compliance with user requirements, specifications, or scope.
• Prepare requirements documentation for use by software developers. Level 1 Junior level resource with some basic experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel Skills
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience within financial data
