F1 Arcade® is the world's first official Formula 1® social entertainment venue, where high-octane excitement meets exceptional hospitality! Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team within the social entertainment industry. In this role, you will support recruitment efforts to help build a talented and dedicated workforce for our growing organization. You will work closely with hiring managers to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates for a variety of positions.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exhibit excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for identifying talent that aligns with our company's values and culture.

Salary: $60,000+, bonus eligible

Location: Chicago, Hybrid, with occasional travel throughout the US to support new markets

Hours of work: Office Hours, with the need to flex during peak periods such as supporting venue openings

Reporting to: Global Talent Acquisition Manager

The Junior Recruiter will be responsible for:

  • Candidate Sourcing & Attraction: Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, and other creative channels specific to the restaurant and hospitality industry.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and conduct initial phone interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and present a shortlist of candidates to hiring managers.
  • Job Postings & Advertisements: Create and post job ads for various positions on appropriate platforms, ensuring the job descriptions are clear and appealing to potential candidates.
  • Applicant Tracking: Maintain an up-to-date applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring all candidate information is recorded accurately, and follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Screening & Evaluation: Review resumes, cover letters, and applications to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for different roles.
  • Hiring Support: Assist hiring managers with interview processes, conduct reference checks, and extend job offers to successful candidates.
  • Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process by preparing welcome materials, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring new hires are well-equipped for their roles.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining effective communication and providing timely updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and the competitive hiring landscape to help shape recruitment strategies.

The ideal Junior Recruiter will be;

  • Experienced in recruitment or HR (internship or entry-level experience is a plus)
  • Interested in the world of hospitality & social entertainment
  • Able to demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with recruitment tools or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Positive, proactive, and team-oriented.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
