Kitchen and Bath Designer Overview Since 1979, Classic Kitchens & Interiors has been partnering with homeowners, architects, builders, and interior designers to collaborate on design aspects of new homes and renovations throughout Cape Cod, the Islands and Southeastern New England. From kitchens, baths, and built-ins to whole house interiors, we work diligently to manage and execute each project. Our certified designers and installers are detail-oriented, thoughtful, and passionate about their work. The Kitchen and Bath Designer is responsible for the management and design of multiple projects from start through completion. Working with the showroom manager, this role is the primary contact for client service and administrative oversight of each job while generating leads and contributing to business development. Job Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include: Providing design and job management for assigned projects from start through completion. Preparing preliminary drawings. Pricing all materials and labor; preparing proposals as needed. Coordinating any necessary project meetings with the team based on showroom coverage. Preparing contracts. Processing and submitting all necessary paperwork. Preparing complete drawings for contract and installation. Preparing installation packages for installers. Coordinating timing with Showroom Manager for installation schedule. Coordinating countertop process and appointments. Receiving and coordinating factory-to-showroom deliveries. Coordinating pickup and deliveries for assigned projects. Coordinating final punch list items for job completion. Preparing and presenting warranty packages at job completion. Managing final walk-throughs with clients at job completion. Proactive lead generation and networking. Candidates will need to meet the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum three years of design and sales experience required. Proficient in Chief Architect Design, comparable design software, and Microsoft Office. Maintains knowledge of product and industry trends and developments. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, trade partners and reps.
