Job Description

We are a premier design-build firm specializing in Kitchen, Bathroom, Basement, and Addition Remodels, and we are seeking a creative and client-focused Designer to join our team. This role collaborates with the Project Consultants and clients to create plans, elevations, and renderings to bring the client's vision to life. This role serves as a critical link between the client, estimating, and project management, helping to deliver exceptional results and a seamless remodeling experience. Responsibilities include: Design and Drafting: Develop comprehensive layouts to meet client goals. Complete precise drawings for estimating and contract sets. Expand the level of detail for the Job Brief. Create renderings for design review presentations. Assist clients with material selections. Provide detailed quotes of approved materials. Client Meetings: Participate in design review meetings with the client and Project Consultant. Attend feasibility site visits and pre-construction meetings. Engage in project development huddles, and attend department meetings. Documentation: Maintain organized records of all project drafts, drawings, and revisions for reference. Track and record client communications, and project progress. Collaboration : Communicate effectively with team members, architects, engineers, and the client throughout the project from development to completion. Revisions and Updates: Make necessary adjustments to drawings based on feedback from clients, team members, engineers, or architects. The desired applicant will have: Previous design experience with construction remodeling projects or custom homes 3+ Years of 20-20 design experience 3+ Years of residential construction experience Passion and expertise for interior design Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite The ability to seek out, accept, and integrate leadership feedback Experience in resolving problems that arise during the project construction Excellent Verbal and Written Skills Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Interior Design, or a related field 3+ years of residential design experience with kitchen and bathroom projects Proficient in 20-20 design or other related design software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Chief Architecture a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively Valid driver's license for occasional site visits Why Join Volpe Enterprises?
