Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Preschool Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join our partner school district in Lewistown, PA. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide critical educational services to preschool-aged students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional, social, and academic development.
• Collaborate with families, support staff, and specialists to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Conduct assessments to monitor progress and make data-driven adjustments to instructional strategies.
• Facilitate communication with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and strategies for support at home.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with district and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field (required).
• Current Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (required).
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting (preferred).
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
