Job Description and Duties

The Program Technician in the Imaging and Record Services Program, Records Section, is responsible to image documents and fingerprint cards received from courts and law enforcement agencies into the Automated Archive System and processes folder requests from various programs within the Department via the Folder Control System.  This is an entry and training level position.  As trainees, under close supervision, incumbents learn and perform increasingly difficult duties of a semi-technical nature.  When incumbents become proficient in their duties, they work under general supervision and guidelines.

  The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required for this position. The SOQ is a narrative discussion of the candidate's education, training, experience, and skills as it relates to the desirable qualifications and duties for the position. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. The SOQ should explain in detail why the candidate believes his or her knowledge, skills, and abilities could apply towards this position. Your response should be typed in Arial 12 point font and no more than two pages in length. Resumes will not be considered a substitute for the SOQ.
