Role: Release Manager

Location: Canada (Remote)

Mode: Contract

Job Description:

• Strong expertise in process / operations (i.e. will have to trigger change requests) agile environment / JIRA for release management / Confluence for release notes etc.
• Knowledge of GIT
• Knowledge of Drupal
• Expertise in GIT workflows (Git Flow, Feature Branching, etc.)
• Proficiency in managing repositories / versions / release plans and tracking issues
• Knowledge of DNS management, caching, web application firewall
• Jands-on experience with build tools, dependency management, release artifacts
• Ability to manage the multiple environments (DEV, QA, PREPROD, STAGE, PROD )
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (will mostly be using Acquia Cloud & Cloudflare)
• Knowledge of security best practices, and tools, static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, etc.
• Plus should have some managerial and process skills
• Stakeholder communication, should be able to directly talk to business stakeholders
• Providing regular updates about release readiness, risks, mitigation plans
• An IT Project Coordinator/Project Control Officer is a vital support role within the technology team, responsible for helping ensure that IT projects are executed in alignment with established standards, policies, and compliance requirements. This role involves assisting with governance, compliance monitoring, risk management, and overall project administration.
