Fortinet is actively seeking a Technical Product Manager with a focus on SD-WAN and SD-Branch solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background working with SDWAN and SASE technologies, as well as field experience interfacing with customer requirements related to SD-WAN opportunities. As a member of the PM team, the successful candidate will actively engage with product leaders to validate customer requests and prioritize effectively to drive business growth. Additionally, the PM will be an active member of the R&D team, defining functional specifications, breaking down feature requests, managing timelines & deliverables, and bringing new features/products to market. Experience in customer and field-facing technical roles is a strong plus. Responsibilities: Distill customer business problems from internal and external stakeholders, analyze and provide feedback. Work closely with field teams to define and prioritize development activities to ensure product requirements are captured and execution matches expectations. Generate a Product Roadmap and communicate as necessary, including both internal and external product evangelism. Work collaboratively with Sales and Engineering to prioritize development. Create regular reports to capture priorities from technical, commercial, and support arenas to ensure effective allocation of resources and provide the necessary focus on current challenges. Provide support to field teams in customer engagements including, but not limited to technology overview, product details, product demos, and technical expertise to drive product revenue. Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend solutions to extend product functionality. Write internal and public-facing technical documentation. Skills and Experience: Required: 3+ years experience working in product management, with an SD-WAN Vendor OR several years experience in Sales Engineering with subject matter expertise for SD-WAN technology. Strong technical expertise with advanced routing and VPN technologies, such as BGP and IPSec. Strong technical and market familiarity with SD-WAN technologies, the competitive landscape, and the market direction. Strong presentation and communication skills to regularly deliver internal and external presentations. Attention to detail and ability to coordinate with multiple teams across the organization. Understanding of a broad range of SD-WAN technologies use cases. Hands-on experience in the deployment and integration of deception technologies into the customer environment. Understanding of complex routing and overlay environments. Experience with detailed competitive analysis, product pricing, and estimation. Demonstrated understanding of the general product planning discipline, with previous cross-collaboration teamwork experience in working with development engineering, field sales, and directly with customers. Solid organizational skills and excitement about working hard in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Deep technical understanding of the SD-WAN market to steer development in the required direction to help drive rapid product revenue growth. Team player with exceptional communication skills. Strong management and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $190,000-$260,000. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
