Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting the effective use of loan system applications for the benefit of the mortgage warehouse. Research and implement best process practices and leverage the use of technology and automation to ensure mortgage warehouse processes are efficient, accurate, and service-focused. Create, maintain, and monitor reports to support the needs of the mortgage warehouse team and become a subject matter expert on the Bank's systems, along with an understanding of the end-to-end process of warehouse loans.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: - Proficiency with WLS, Jack Henry, SmartSheet, SharePoint, and FundingShield
- Knowledge and Understanding of Loan Products
- Review and process funding requests in WLS and export to Jack Henry
- Submit new settlement agents to FundingShield, add new agent to WLS
- Generate and review daily reports
- Mail Log
- Post Haircuts
- Post Payoffs
- Monitor and process Collateral (aging, location, receive, post, ship)
- Process Payments
- Collect/Monitor Payment Histories (as required by age & product type)
- Process funding requests for complex products (Business Purposes, Loans Held for Investment, Renovation)
- Collect, review, and post monthly payment histories
- Order, review, and post monthly AVM reports
- Review and post daily curtailments
- Payment Call Backs
- Residual Call Backs
- End-of-Day Call Backs
- Set up new approved investors in WLS
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1-2 years of related experience is required.
- Funder - 0 - 2 years experience preferred in lending
- Senior Funder - Minimum of 2 years Technical and Loan Experience

- Two to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
